THE RASCALITY AND STUPIDITY OF AGATU YOUTH .
I have decided to hold my peace for sometimes over the incisant killing of our Agatu people, because when we call leaders out, they feel we have personal issues with them, no we don’t, we are just a concerned Agatu born willing to see our people strives in safety and prosperity.
I want to hereby address a post and the stupidity of comments underneath, when it comes to security issue, we should stop making it personal, if you are saddled with the responsibility of human safety and the same people dies everyday, there is no better interpretation than being a “FAILURE ” nothing is personal there.
There has been killing in Agatu and the recent one caught the attention of people and one of my little brothers Nelson Ngbede posted about his feelings over this negligence on the oversight function of our leaders resulting to pains and agony in our political jurisdictions (I know why I use jurisdictions, instead of the one you are expecting), but I was marveled by some insensitive, useless, stupid and what not comments beneath them, how personal and refering they makes the post to be. I will be talking about two of them right away.
1st comment by Prince Oigbeche , and I address:
He claims the Nelson politicise his assertion, I have a problem with their level of compression, they are all graduates, intelligent young men but have a problem with comprehension, and this is not due to academic challenges, but lack of moral value for humanity and just being personally greeding for favour.
Come to think of his comments, Nelson never blames any politicians in his post, how is he politicising the issue? And the question I have for him is that, if your grandfather was poor, your father is poor, it means your child has no right to question the poverty track record in your family, since neither you or your father did anything, your child should also be quiet so poverty will become your birthright, isnt it?
The governor is the chief security officer of the state, since he doesn’t do anything, we shouldn’t talk again right? The governor serves the whole Benue state, and he only responds to pressure from the people of each area, that’s why we have representation to put this pressure on the governor if he is not doing what is expected, was that done?
You are asking him what has the state house of Assembly done, are you not an Agatu son?
Obagaji for that matter, what stops you from calling him out if he doesn’t? Moreover he never call any single name in his post, what makes you think he is not among the people he is calling out in this matter?
2nd comment by Eigege Achigili , I respond:
This is one guy I respect so much, if he doesn’t know, he should know now, as I love every young man striving to make things work in a legal way, but I am so disappointed at his statement and comment, the killing will continue, you mean it? If the person he assumed the post is referring to is not in the picture based on his perception, the post won’t be political to him oh, moreover, who exactly among the politicians in Agatu that his name was mentioned in this post?
You people don’t even have a single strategy in marketing a politician at all, for the record you people are de-marketing your politician and if he is wise enough, he should call all of you to order and ensure you are all giving an orientation on political marketing. I don’t want to call any name so they won’t say I did, but you and yourself know your political anchor.
So in your mind, the past leader failed to do something about the security, for that purpose, we should accept our fate and continue to die? What a shallow way of thinking, or we should go and call them back and ask them to correct it?
The reason why the current leaders are elected is because, there was a problem, and they are seem to be career of solution, that’s the reason for their election or selection as the case may be, it’s unfortunate that the same you accusing the post of being political is the same person asking what are those currently in power doing, what a conflict, not “the killing will continue” just imagine!!!
You are calling governor, house of Assembly, chairman, has house of reps being relegated in your region? What a myopia!!! Moreover you are not exempted from calling out if the situation persists, you possess the same power or right as the poster.
To let you know how short sighted you are and lacking the knowledge necessary to write this, your speech from the beginning does not have any relationships with your conclusion, just trying to show yourself being relevant at the expense of people’s safety, it’s so disheartened.
You begin your write up and I quote.
“The killings will continue until we stop politicising them”
The same person is concluding that people are dying while we play politics, and I quote again.
“Enough is enough, innocent lives are being lost, while leaders play politics”
Is it not the same politics you said until they stop playing if not people will continue to die that you are now the one confusing that leaders are playing politics at the expense of people’s life?.
What a conflict.
I rest my case, and await your shameless and senseless comments at the comment section.
