OJEMA FELICITATES WITH APA/AGATU ON NIGERIA’S 65TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY

The Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency and Chairman, House of Reps Committee on National Inland Waterways, Chief. Hon. Pst Ojotu Ojema FESMI, felicitates with millions of Nigerians all over the world, especially the people of Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency on the 65th Independence Anniversary of Nigeria

In a strong worded Goodwill Message he personally signed, Chief Ojema congratulates the people of Apa and Agatu for their resilience, patriotism and unwavering hope in the Nigerian project despite numerous challenges.

The Aboh-OcheK’Idoma notes that Nigeria’s Independence Anniversary is not only a reminder of the nation’s liberation from colonial rule but also an opportunity for citizens to reflect on the collective sacrifices of past heroes, urging them to remain united and continue to uphold the spirit of brotherhood, peace and progress for which their communities are known.

He condemns the lingering upheaval between Ologba and Egba communities in Agatu LGA, saying it is a big setback to the collective efforts in trying to restore a long lasting Security, Peace and Unity to the entire Agatu land.

“Only forgiveness, tolerance and love that can bring Peace, Security Unity and Development to our land as no society can grow in an acrimonious and rancorous atmosphere”, Ojema said.

The Performing and Award-winning Federal Lawmaker reaffirms his commitment to quality representation and total transformation of the Federal Constituency, promising to continue with his good policies and programs he has already started, through execution of numerous projects in the areas of Road Construction/Rehabilitation, Water, Education, Agriculture, Scholarship, Empowerment, installation of Solar Integrated Street Lights, Employment across the two LGAs.

Hon Ojema calls on the government at all levels to redouble their efforts towards addressing the escalating insecurity, unemployment, and poverty, which have slowed down the nation’s growth.

“As we celebrate this year’s Independence Anniversary, let us renew our hope in a better Nigeria,”

“With unity, resilience, and determination, we can overcome our challenges and secure a brighter future for our children”, Ojema opined.

Pst prays for Peace, Prosperity, God’s Protection and blessings upon the people of Apa and Agatu, wishing them a joyous and hitch-free Independence Day Celebration.
