*AGATU YOUTH DEMAND ANSWERS ON EGBA-OLOGBA CRISIS, TARGET ADAGAJE FOR ACCOUNTABILITY*

In a follow-up to his earlier call for transparency, Comr Ochokwunu Daniel Edor, Convener of the Agatu National Youth Council (ANYC), through his verified Facebook page on a post he titled “AGATU DILEMMA, EGBA AND OLOGBA CASE STUDY” has escalated the push for accountability in the longstanding EGBA and OLOGBA communal crisis, spotlighting the influential role of ADAGAJE, a prominent clergy and spiritual leader in Agatu.
Edor emphasized that his previous demand for explanations from former Local Government Chairman Hon. Michael Umoru Inalegwu (1999-2002) wasn’t an accusation of complicity, but a quest for clarity on how the situation escalated, particularly as Inalegwu served as the chief security officer at the time. He challenged claims that the crisis intensified eight years post-Inalegwu, questioning what “becoming intense” truly means and urging further explanation.
Edor raised pointed questions about a purported court ruling favoring both EGBA and OLOGBA, asking, “How can a court issue the same judgment to both defendant and respondent?” He suggested one party may possess a forged document and demanded answers on its origin.
Shifting focus to ADAGAJE, Edor appealed for the spiritual leader’s insight or referral, citing his counsel role in past crises and influence among Agatu people. “We believe ADAGAJE has a lot to tell us,” he said, urging anyone with access to convey the message.
Edor stressed the push isn’t accusatory but aimed at uncovering truths to resolve the crisis, which has devastated lives. “Enough is enough. If anyone knows they’re involved, nothing is hidden under the sun—they will be out soon,” he warned, calling on those with information to speak out before investigations deepen.
The Agatu National Youth Council seeks the community’s help in reaching ADAGAJE, as the youth grow increasingly desperate to end the suffering. The statement concludes with a plea for truth and justice for Agatu.
