*AGATU YOUTH ESCALATE DEMANDS FOR ACCOUNTABILITY IN EGBA-OLOGBA CRISIS, TARGET CLEMENT OYAJE FOR ANSWERS*
In a follow-up to their push for transparency, Comr Ochokwunu Daniel Edor, Convener of the Agatu National Youth Council (ANYC), has named Clement OYAJE, a teacher at LGEA Agatu and spokesperson of the Egba community, as a key figure sought for explanations over the alleged manipulation of a court ruling in the EGBA/OLOGBA land dispute.
He communicated this through his verified Facebook page named Comr Ochokwunu Daniel Edor ( https://www.facebook.com/share/17buD9xuDh/ ), where he usually communicate to his people in his struggles for a better AGATU community.
According to gathered information, a court verdict—confirmed by Hon. Michael Umoru Inalegwu in a previous response—purportedly favored both parties, raising suspicions of document forgery by one party with the help of Agatu leaders and a young man who was later arrested but released under unclear circumstances. Edor alleges Clement OYAJE, as the “Ogbole goche” of Egba and a possible witness to the proceedings, “has a lot to tell the Agatu people” about the crisis and it’s proceeding, including specifics on the court ruling, how both parties obtained identical documents, and the involved lawyers and judge.
The ANYC is demanding answers from OYAJE and also renews questions to Hon. Mike Inalegwu about:
– The members and duties of the committee he instituted,
– Why a committee was formed if the matter was in court,
– Who presented the dual court rulings, and
– The identities of lawyers and the judge involved.
Edor warned that Agatu leaders allegedly behind the document alteration “can’t hide forever,” urging the community to convey the message to Clement OYAJE and calling for urgent feedback. “Agatu demands his side of the story,” the statement reads.
The investigation aims to unravel the crisis’s roots and ensure justice for affected Agatu people. The ANYC stresses this is a pursuit of truth, not accusations.
