*AGATU LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOOSTS SECURITY IN EGBA/OLOGBA WITH MOTORCYCLE DONATION*
The Executive Chairman of Agatu Local Government, Hon. (Amb) James Melvin Ejeh, has taken steps to enhance security in the troubled Ologba, Ekaida, and Egba communities by donating new motorcycles to security operatives. The presentation, held on December 18, 2025, aims to improve mobility and operational capacity, particularly in front-line areas.
Chairman Ejeh emphasized that the donation will enable security personnel to patrol affected areas effectively, respond to emergencies, and apprehend perpetrators. “This action is expected to significantly impact the overall security landscape,” he stated.
Following a high-level security meeting on December 16, 2025, Ejeh directed continuous day-and-night patrols along the Ologba-Egba axis to ensure a peaceful Christmas celebration. He commended Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s support and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
The move demonstrates the local government’s efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.
