If Calling Me Stupid Will Solve Nigeria’s Problems, I’m Ready To Change My Name To Obi Stupid——- Peter Obi

 

The former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP, candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi has sent a message to those criticizing him.

 

His statement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of VANGUARD on Monday, December 29, 2025.

 

He made the statement while speaking to his supporters on an X space. In the report that surfaced online, the former governor of Anambra state said he is not moved by the negative things that people say about him.

 

The former governor of Anambra state said he is only concerned about the things that will bring positive changes to Nigeria. He said all the insults from his critics do not bother him.

 

Here is what Peter Obi said according to VANGUARD;

 

“All the insults do not bother me. If calling me stupid or an idiot will solve Nigeria’s problems, I’m ready to go to court and change my name to Obi stupid”.
