Senator Abba Moro Postpones Mega Decamping Ceremony in Agatu and Otukpo Over Security Concerns

*Senator Abba Moro Postpones Mega Decamping Ceremony in Agatu and Otukpo Over Security Concerns*

Senator Abba Moro has postponed the Mega Decamping Ceremony scheduled for Agatu and Otukpo LGAs on January 17th and 18th, 2026, due to recent attacks in the area that resulted in the loss of lives, including Hon. Ochi Igbabe, the PDP House of Assembly candidate. The ceremony, which was to involve decamping from APC, ADC, LP, and other parties to PDP, has been rescheduled to a later date.

According to the statement by the Media Adviser to the senator, Emmanuel Eche’Ofun John, new dates for Agatu and Otukpo would be announced. The senator regretted all inconveniences the postponement might have caused those billed to attend the events. He prayed God to rest the souls of those killed and give their family members the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses.
