*PDP Benue South Slams AVM Monday Morgan’s Call to Adopt ADC, Labels it ‘Misfiring’

 

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue South Senatorial District has dismissed a call by AVM Monday Morgan, National Coordinator of Benue Rebirth Movement (BRM), for the people of Zone C to adopt the Alliance of Democratic Choice (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

 

In a statement, PDP Zonal Chairman, Hon. Ikeke Uche Augustine, described Morgan’s call as “misfiring” and “wishful thinking”, saying it doesn’t reflect the political reality on ground. He noted that PDP has done significantly more for Zone C than any other party, citing examples of projects and opportunities provided by the party.

 

The statement also questioned Morgan’s authority to speak for the people of Benue South, saying BRM has lost touch with the people’s yearnings and aspirations.
