*COMR OCHOKWUNU DEFENDS PAUL EDOH, CALLS ALLEGATIONS “POLITICALLY MOTIVATED” *
Comr Ochokwunu Daniel Edor has come out swinging in defense of Paul Edoh, dismissing allegations of financial mismanagement as a “cheap blackmail” by political opponents.
In a scathing statement, Edor questioned the motives behind the allegations, pointing out that Edoh’s critics are largely from opposing political camps. He urged people to focus on demanding accountability from leaders rather than tearing down individuals.
Edor defended Edoh’s integrity, citing personal dealings and urging a fair investigation. He also questioned the ₦150,000 hall rental claim, suggesting it’s unrealistic in Abuja’s context.
Edor emphasized that if the allegations are true, it’s the Apa Youths Arise Movement’s responsibility to address, not the public’s. “The association will be the worse of its kind to have allowed this to the public if it’s true at all,” he said, implying the matter shouldn’t be aired publicly.
The controversy has sparked heated debate, with many calling for transparency and accountability. What’s your take on the allegations and Edor’s defense?
