*BENUE STUDENTS SHINE IN ESSAY COMPETITION, LOCAL FOUNDATION STEPS IN TO REWARD WINNER*
Students from Benue State have brought pride to their state by emerging among top winners in a recent inter-state essay competition held in Enugu. Imoni Adoga Joshua, a student of Methodist High School, Obagaji, secured third place, impressing judges with his analytical strength and clarity.
The Baba Oigboche Foundation (Save the Future Foundation) is recognizing Imoni’s achievement with a cash prize, to be presented at his school’s SS3 send-off ceremony. The foundation is also supporting his future education with a semester allowance upon university admission.
The competition, which addressed key social issues, saw Chivirter David Adabo take first place, while Aondongu Eric Terkumawyuese secured fourth. The Baba Oigboche Foundation is already gearing up for its next essay competition, scheduled for May 2026. 📚
