APA-AGATU: YOUR CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS ARE YOURS TO VERIFY.
As i strive to keep the constituents of Apa Agatu informed and engaged in this first quarter of the year, it is essential to spotlight the various projects allocated for 2024 under our Honourable Member’s leadership. Transparency and accountability are key in ensuring that the resources allocated for our community are utilized effectively and efficiently.
Below is a compilation of several projects listed in last year’s budget, which we urge our community members to monitor closely and verify if some have been executed last or lately. It is vital for us to confirm the execution of these projects because they are ours
and my major concern is why are projects not yet executed while the 2024 budget elapse soon, July this year to be precise, and is also vital to remind our esteemed lawmaker of any commitments that may have been overlooked last year. while we acknowledge and expressed gratitude for projects that have been successfully completed by him in recent time, is equally important that we advocate for those that are still pending in the Budget.

Inquiry: Ojantele and Obagaji Dam Project
Additionally, we must seek clarification regarding the construction of the Ojantele and Obagaji Dam, for which a payment of **N43,511,627.91** was allegedly made to Josdean Diamondstar Synergy Resource Ltd under the payment code *0252042001*, uptil this moment, the Honourable’s office has not given any tangible reasons for why work has not commence despite being under his watch.
**Questions for the Community:**
– Has the contractor been mobilized to the site?
– What is the current state of the project?
– Community members, especially the youths and Elders of Ojantele and Obagaji, what updates do you have?
Primary healthcare in Apa and Agatu:
What is the status of this project?
– have the contractor been mobilized to site?
-have they cleared the original site that was captured on paper?
Igoro Electrification project:
– what is the current state of the project?
– Has the contractor ran away with the money allegedly paid to him, what is the Honourable member doing about it?
– Supply of Laptops for Apa/Agatu Students
Which cost N50,000,000
– I hope the laptops delivered worth the cost we sighted in last year’s budget?
– have those students getting any laptop?
I encourage everyone, especially those residing in the areas mentioned above, to take an active role in verifying whether these projects are completed or in progress. Government resources must serve the people, and it is our duty to ensure that they do.
By following up and conducting thorough checks on these constituency projects, we not only fulfill our responsibilities but also contribute to the overall development of our community. As the year progresses, I will be publishing names of companies and contractors the office of the Honourable member allegedly nominated for all this yet to be executed projects for us all to go after using every legal means available to us.
Thank you for your dedication to our constituency and for doing your part in ensuring that our local projects are successful and impactful, I have done my part, despite name calling and insults haul at me from various quarters for only God knows why.
While thanking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for considering our constituency, we must thank the Honourable member for other things he has done while we continue to hold him accountable.
To leave this issue unattended, to us is a big minus to our constitutioncy.
Constituency projects is a going concern, so what supposed to be done that was not done becomes a problem to the incoming Reps member, we must encourage our lawmaker to follow up with those contractors allegedly nominated for those projects, our people need them.
I still remain your sincere brother,
Comrade. Paul G Edoh Jr,
Chief. Advocate for Power Rotation
