AN OPEN LETTER TO MR. PRESIDENT ON THE IMPORT OF NATIONAL LEADERS IN RESOLVING RIVER STATE SOCIO-POLITICAL CRISIS.

AN OPEN LETTER TO MR. PRESIDENT ON THE IMPORT OF NATIONAL LEADERS IN RESOLVING RIVER STATE SOCIO-POLITICAL CRISIS.

1. The crisis in River State stress the enduring importance of national leadership role. There is need for national leaders in challenging times to restore peace and order, wellness, safety, and growth of the state and wellbeing of the people.

2. Seeking advice and guidance or direction from national leaders is crucial for getting wisdom, making strategic choices and aligning with the scripture, faith and belief, ethos and practices of our fathers and heroes past thereby impacting the citizens most especially the younger ones with knowledge and wisdom, guidance for leadership and healthy society.

3. Engaging national leaders – traditional rulers, spiritual leaders (G.Os, Pastors, Imams), youths, heads of organizations and unions, civil society organizations and interest groups, etc. is important for wisdom and in-depth insight.

4. National leaders significantly influence the political growth and stability of the country. Their presence encourages both the leaders and their followers to live in love and peace in amicable environment.

5. As River State is faced with the challenges of political instability, the need for national leaders’ counsel in the wellness of the state, to maintain peace and order, foster unity and safety, and sustain the economic growth and political stability of the state cannot be underestimated.

6. Mr. President should know the import of appointing national leaders in the wellness and growth of democracy. The reaction of Nigerians to the state of emergency declared by Mr President establishes the significance of national leadership role among the people who would be able to set in order the things that are lacking.

7. Just like a ship facing challenges at sea without the guidance of skilled sailors, it risks disasters. In like manner, River State is faced with socio-political challenges. With national leaders as skilled navigators, safety and wise decisions prevail, navigating through its challenges is made possible.

8. In conclusion, restoring the incumbent governor – Simi Fubara, his deputy, and members of state assembly, and the appointment of national leaders would be likened to skilled sailors maintaining peace and order, safety, and securing the ship of our democracy, fostering safety and unity of River State and enhancing the well-being of the people. Mr President should ponder over it.

Thanks and God bless Nigeria
