Agatu BSHOA RACE: “Ikwulono Is The Credible And Capable Man For Agatu House Of Assembly 2027” – AIYA President Urges Agatu People To Make Him The Only Option

*Agatu, Benue State* – The Convener/National President of the Agatu Indigenous Youth Association, Comr. Ochokwunu Daniel Edor, has thrown his full weight behind Hon. John Anthony Ikwulono as the best and most credible candidate for the Agatu State Constituency seat in the 2027 House of Assembly election.
In a statement reacting to a recent video post by his “respected mother and big sister” Winifred Elaigwu titled _“Let us look for a credible and capable person for AGATU HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY 2027 God willing”_, Edor said Ikwulono perfectly fits the description of the kind of leader Agatu needs.
*“I wish to make my opinion and submission on it, and reasons I love and support #JohnAnthonyIkwulono so much as that credible and capable person for the HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY 2027, AGATU STATE CONSTITUENCY,”* Edor stated.
He noted that although he has never met Hon. Ikwulono physically, his antecedents speak volumes.
*“I heard of his antecedents as a vice chairman, a position that by history is rarely known, but he was known as if he was the chairman due to his great representation to the people.”*
Aligning with Mummy Winnie’s submission that the House of Assembly is the closest and most important position to the people, Edor said Agatu needs someone “of great caliber, capacity, outspoken, defender of the people, fearless person with the intention of protecting his people.”
*Why Ikwulono Stands Out*
According to Edor, Ikwulono has represented Agatu at the presidency level in Jos, and has been invited severally to radio discussions on the complex security situation in Agatu. He added that Ikwulono has consistently challenged actions of leaders both at the grassroots and state levels in defense of Agatu people.
*“He is not the only perhaps educated, outspoken person in Agatu, why always him on all issues? That’s because he has the capacity to represent the people, state exactly the mind of the people and people have built the trust on him over time,”* he said.
Edor further stressed that Ikwulono understands Agatu’s historical and security challenges and has the onus to confront any power to curb them.
*“He is by chance and by heart the grassroots politician who is the closest to the people than every other one, who listens and when he hears, speaks for the people.”*

The AIYA President urged Agatu people to rally behind Ikwulono, saying the constituency needs him more than he needs the position.
