Today, I am delighted to announce the inauguration of the training of 40,000 civil servants across our state and local governments on e-governance tools and ICT skills, aimed at empowering our workforce and accelerating our progress toward a digitally driven economy.
This is a bold step toward creating a future where governance is transparent, efficient, and responsive. It’s the dawn of a new digital landscape, where technology is harnessed to improve lives, streamline services, and create opportunities for all.
We also unveil four (4) groundbreaking platforms that will reshape the way we serve our people and engage with the world:
1. The Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) – A tool that will enhance transparency, accelerate decision-making, and ensure that our government operates with the highest standards of efficiency.
2. The Benue State Geographic Information Systems (BENGIS) Portal – A vital resource for simplifying land management services, reducing delays, and providing accessible, reliable information to the public.
3. The Benue Youth Startup and Innovation Support Portal – A demonstration to our commitment to empowering our youth. This portal will provide the resources, mentorship, and financial support necessary to turn visionary ideas into thriving businesses.
