Nigerian music legend, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, recently paid a heartfelt visit to his hometown, Amufu in Edumoga, Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, accompanied by his wife, Honourable Natasha Idibia.
During the visit, the couple made a courtesy call to the Och’Idoma’s Palace, where they were warmly received by traditional leaders and members of the community.
The visit was widely celebrated, with many praising 2Baba for reconnecting with his roots and proudly identifying as a “son of the soil.”
In a post celebrating the visit, locals quoted the popular scripture: “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from God.” Many lauded the singer’s gesture of honoring his heritage and his new African queen.
In addition to this, reliable sources have confirmed that 2Baba is currently constructing a new house in his hometown. The development has further fueled speculations about his potential political ambition.
Some fans and townsmen are suggesting the music icon may be eyeing a House of Representatives seat to represent his constituency in the near future.
Though 2Baba is yet to officially declare any political intentions, his increased involvement in community affairs and developmental projects in Benue State continues to spark conversations about his possible future in politics.
