OJEMA controversy: OJEMA followers denied the existence of Jesus Christ as they claims Ojema is now the Jesus Christ

**Controversy Erupts as Hon. Ojema’s Official Photographer Compares Him to Jesus Christ**

In a wave of backlash, Honourable Ojema, representative of the Apa-Agatu federal constituency, has found himself at the center of controversy following a misguided statement from his official photographer, Doyen Simon Adikwu.

The comment, which likened Hon. Ojema to Jesus Christ, has sparked outrage across various social media platforms, with many constituents expressing their disbelief and disappointment. Adikwu stated, “Ojema is our Jesus Christ and he came to save us,” drawing sharp criticism for this comparison, which many believe trivializes the figure of Christ whose death and resurrection was recently celebrated worldwide by the christiandom. Critics are also questioning the professionalism and judgment of those surrounding the Honourable member.

The criticism has predominantly focused on Pastor Ojema’s choice of aides, with some labeling them as “quack and ill mannered children.” This sentiment reflects a broader discontent among constituents, who are frustrated that their representative seems to prioritize hiring “cheap commodities” over experienced advisors, constituents members have drawn stark comparisons between Pastor Ojema’s and aides of the former lawmaker representing the constituency, Honourable Samuel Odagbobyi Godday, whose aides are praised for their professionalism and maturity on issues pertaining to the constituency.

Recent media scrutiny has not been kind to Honourable Ojema, whose name has been linked to multiple controversies largely attributed to the careless actions of his staff. One notably alarming statement from Ojema’s Media Assistant, Mr. Olikita Ekani asserted that the Honourable member “owes no one in the constituency explanations” regarding issues that directly impact their lives. This comment has further ignited outrage, with many constituents viewing it as a blatant disregard for their rights and expectations of transparency from their elected representative.

The repeated incidents surrounding Ojema highlight a concerning trend: an apparent disconnect betweend the Honourable member and the needs and voices of his constituents. The atmosphere of distrust and dissatisfaction is palpable, as community members are calling for greater accountability and a reassessment of Ojema’s team.

As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how Honourable Ojema will respond to these criticisms. Will he take steps to ensure that his aides exemplify the maturity, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism necessary to authentically represent the interests of the Apa-Agatu federal constituency? The community is watching closely, hopeful for a positive change and an end to the cycle of embarrassment that has defined recent months.

One of his supporter carelessly supported the former claim by the photographer to expressed his support for on the derogatory statememt, stating, “Hon. Ojema is the Jesus Christ of Apa-Agatu; he is our savior, he came to save us.” However, many view this sentiment as remarkably unprofessional, illustrating the discontent among constituents.

While there have been numerous instances of political aides facing backlash for inappropriate comments, specific examples of aides being dismissed for overstepping boundaries are often less documented. A notable incident in Nigeria occurred in 2017 involving an aide to former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose. A social media post from Fayose’s personal aide, which implied excessive loyalty and devotion, drew significant criticism and ultimately led to the aide’s dismissal following public backlash.

This incident serves as a poignant reminder of the potential repercussions for aides who make statements that could diminish their political boss’s public image. The situation with Honourable Ojema reflects similar dynamics, as the comparison to Jesus Christ made by his official photographer has been perceived as trivializing a central figure in Christianity, creating a public relations crisis for him. The unprofessionalism exhibited raises significant concerns about the judgment of his team and has led to calls for accountability, including the potential dismissal of aides responsible for such statements.
