*BARRISTER NAPOLEON OTACHE ADVISES THE DEFEATED HON. MELVIN JAMES EJEH TO STOP CRYING*.
PRESS RELEASE.
The attention of the office of the Executive Council Chairman-elect of Agatu Local Government Area, Barrister Napoleon Otache, has been drawn to the reckless, worthless and legally untenable press release issued by the defeated Chairman of Agatu, Hon. Melvin James Ejeh, through his media aide. The statement is not only riddled with falsehoods and contradictions but also exposes Ejeh’s desperation to cling to power against the mandate freely given to Barrister NAPOLEON OTACHE by the people of Agatu as rightly affirmed by the Election Petition Tribunal on the 13th April, 2025.
We wish to use this opportunity to advise the defeated Chairman and this should not be in anyway taken to be a substantive rebuttal to the infantile contents of the said press release of Melvin’s media aide.
Our findings showed that the press release from the office of the defeated Chairman of Agatu Local Government Council was concocted by an inexperienced boy who is currently in National Diploma 1, studying legal/secretarial studies at Ikobi Community Polytechnic. So Melvin has become so defeated in the mind and body to the extent that he now resulted to consulting a diploma 1 student of secretarial studies from Ikobi Community Polytechnic to help him interpret the judgment of the Election Petition Tribunal? How are the mighty fallen!
This is pitiable!
All the mombo-jumbo and jaundiced arguments contained in that junk of a press release from the office of the defeated Melvin goes to no issue and our principal will not spare his precious time responding to emotional beer parlor gossips.
Our principal is a known lawyer with track records of excellence and this is never in dispute. He defeated Melvin mercilessly and he does not make any noise about it.
It has been observed that the Defeated Chairman, Melvin, has within a week, issued more than 10 press releases since the judgement of the Tribunal was pronounced. What a desperation! Why is Melvin crying and weeping to those who cannot even help him? Is it for him to gain cheap sympathy?
When the case was pending at the Tribunal, the members of the public are not even aware of it because a hunting dog does not make noise. Our principal pursued the case to the logical conclusion and got sweet victory. It is expected that the defeated Melvin should honorably accept his fate and return to his farms in Jos, Plateau State.
We wish to State clearly that the Defeated Chairman, Hon Melvin is not even a member of APC. All the Agatu people know that Melvin contested for the House of Representative for APA/AGATU in the recent 2023 General elections under the platform of Labour Party(LP). During the general election, Melvin campaigned openly against His Excellency, Gov. Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia and President Tinubu. Melvin was the symbol of Gov. Peter Obi and Hon. Hema Hembe in his village during the 2023 general elections. As you all know, Between the recent 2023 and now, APC has not conducted any membership registration exercise. So, at what point did Melvin join the APC? Another fraud!
The defeated Chairman, Melvin, should know that Nemesis is real and it cannot be outsmarted as he is always known for. We humbly advise Melvin to go to Hon. Peter Eigege and apologize to him
for all the acts of wickedness he has done against the Agatu elder statesman. Melvin truly needs the genuine and total forgiveness of Hon. Peter Eigege of Ayele Community, AGATU in order to break the political jink and curse the elder may had placed on him.
AGATU adage says an empty cymbals make the loudest noise. If Melvin is not satisfied with the judgement of the Tribunal, the honorable thing for him to do is to consult qualified lawyers duly called to the Nigerian Bar and not resorting consulting a Diploma 1 student in legal/secretarial studies of the Ikobi Community Polytechnic. He won’t get any sound legal advice from such a folk.
Our principal does not talk much but he is fully ready to respond to any legal challenge in court.
The defeated Chairman, Melvin, should stop this childish crying and deliberate falsehood because AGATU people have already known who posses security threats to their lives and their farmlands. We urge the defeated Melvin to Go to any community in AGATU and mention the name: MELVIN. He may be lucky to survive being stoned with rotten eggs and excreta. An Agatu *Akpanchala folklore* singer once said that a HE-GOAT hardly acknowledges the offensive odour oozing out of its demented head. Self-denial is another form of mental illness. It is now advisable for the defeated Chairman, Melvin, to find time to redeem his image as the” CHIEF CHARTERED NEGOTIATOR”. He is “chartered” indeed!
All other infantile threats contain in the jaundiced press release of the Defeated Melvin do not deserve any response as an Agatu adage posits that no size of *Ikpapi* (penis) can overwhelmed a widowed grandmother. To the Crying Crying Melvin, we wish to inform you that the Barrister Napoleon Otache that you truly knew in 2018 is now a different sophisticated person, to the Glory of God. Melvin, You trust and openly brags and boast in your chariot and earthly connections but the young and vibrant Ogbaulu boy fully trust in the Almighty God and God has never forsaken him.
Our principal is fully refined and civilized and won’t take any vindictive or oppressive decisions against the Defeated Melvin when he takes over the leadership of Agatu Local Government.
Our principal is ready to rescue AGATU people from the current Golgotha of hardship and the defeated Melvin is too small to distract our principal.
For the avoidance of doubt, by virtue of the judgement of the Tribunal delivered on he 13th April, 2025, the current Executive Council Chairman-elect of Agatu LGA is Barrister Napoleon Otache. It is wiser for Melvin to accept this reality and present himself for collaboration for the development of Agatu. The doors of our principal are wide open to accommodate the defeated Melvin and others who genuinely have interests and ideas in the Rescue Mission project of Agatu development. We hereby invite Melvin to join us. AGATU belongs to all of us and we shall develop it together. Come on board, please.
*Melvin, please wipe your tears and stop crying.*
Thank you.
