Prince Ojajuni Calls for Urgent Security Action Following Viral Kidnapping Video
*National Youth President of Afenifere Identifies Suspects as His Former Kidnappers*
Lagos, Nigeria — May 8, 2025
Prince Ojajuni, the National Youth President of Afenifere, had issued a public call to the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian Police Force, the Nigerian Army and the Southwest governors, urging them to act swiftly on a video currently circulating on social media that appears to show a group of armed kidnappers with their victims.
In a startling revelation, Prince Ojajuni confirmed that he has positively identified two of the individuals in the video as part of the gang that abducted him during a recent trip to Abuja. His firsthand knowledge of these criminals adds weight to the authenticity of the video and underscores the urgent need for immediate security intervention.
“I am deeply disturbed by the footage making the rounds online,” Prince Ojajuni said. “These are not just anonymous criminals — I recognize at least two of the men in this video. They were part of the group that kidnapped me. This is a national issue. We cannot continue to let such acts of terrorism go unchecked.”
Prince Ojajuni has expressed his gratitude for his own survival but emphasized that many others are still at the mercy of these violent elements. He called on all relevant security agencies to analyze the video, trace the perpetrators, and rescue any remaining victims.
“This is a critical opportunity for our security institutions to show that no one is above the law and that criminal acts against Nigerians will not go unpunished. We must act now — lives depend on it.”
The Afenifere Youth President also urged the general public to remain vigilant and cooperative with authorities in the ongoing fight against insecurity, and he reaffirmed Afenifere’s commitment to justice, peace, and the protection of all Nigerian citizens.
