Senator Abba Moro receives APC Zone C in Abuja, secures its support

Ochochi news:

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro PhD on Tuesday received APC Zone C on a courtesy visit in his National Assembly office.

The leader of the delegation and Zonal Chairman of the party, Bishop Pinot Ogbaji, in his speech, said they were in the senator’s office to identify with him and his quality legislative activities that continue to set the pace, and to commend him for his developmental strides in the senatorial district.

Bishop Pinot thanked the senator for all his grassroots engagements and the scholarship offered to Benue South youths. He profusely thanked the senator for giving the Bishop, Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Enone South, Rt. Rev. Dr. Godwin Ali Idoko, a car recently, a gesture he said, would greatly help the works of God.

He said Senator Moro was someone everyone loves to identify with and assured him that they, in APC, would never be ashamed or afraid of identifying with him anytime, any day. He urged the senator to always invite them for all his public outings and prayed God to endue him with the grace and energy to continue to excel even beyond 2027.

In his response, Senator Moro expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and all the kind words. He said the visit was not because of idleness or joblessness but because of the love for him.

His words;

“You are coming to me not because of idleness but because of your love for me. I’m not taking the love for granted and will never be tired of receiving you.

“The task of developing Zone C is a collective task, so we must all join hands together, irrespective of our political parties, to develop the zone.

“Due to the absence of governance in Zone C, I’m standing as the senator and governor, and I believe with the help of God and your support, we will surmount all the obstacles to bridge the infrastructural deficit and empower our youths.”

The senator thanked the APC stalwarts for the visit and asked them to always feel free to visit and talk to him, stating that he’s senator of all and his doors open to everyone at all times.

Members of the delegation were the Zonal Chairman of the party, Bishop Pinot Ogbaji, PhD; Members of the Zonal EXCO, local government party chairmen and other stakeholders, which included Alh. Muhammed Hassan, Ochojila Adah, Awodi Inalegwu, Inalegwu Enokela, Ekah Peter Agbo, Hon. Ochai Stephen, Hon. Moses Okoh, Hon. Owobi Josiah, Saidu Habibu, Ekirigwe Andy, Hon. Andrew Edache, Hon.
