AGATU COUNCIL CHAIRMAN MOURNS FORMER CHAIRMAN, HON. DANJUMA SULE

The Chairman of Agatu Local Government, Hon. (Amb.) James Melvin Ejeh, has received with profound sorrow the news of the passing of former Chairman, Hon. Danjuma Sule, who departed this life today, Thursday, June 19, 2025, in Obagaji.
In a statement issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Amb. Obochi Solomon, Hon. Ejeh described Hon. Danjuma’s passing as a monumental loss to the local government and Benue State, noting that his contributions to the development of Agatu will forever be remembered.
He eulogized Hon. Danjuma’s pioneering role in shaping the local government’s growth, highlighting his visionary leadership and selfless service to the community.
He noted that Hon. Danjuma’s sad demise has created a huge vacuum that will be difficult to fill. Hon. Ejeh urged the family to find solace in the indelible impact Hon. Danjuma made during his lifetime and the love that bonded them.
Hon. Ejeh expressed his deepest condolences to the family and the entire people of Agatu Local Government, praying for the eternal repose of Hon. Danjuma’s soul.
The council chairman assured the family of the council’s unwavering support during this difficult time and as plans are made for his funeral.
He called on the people of Agatu to come together to honor the life and legacy of Hon. Danjuma Sule, and to find strength in their collective grief.
May the soul of Hon. Danjuma Sule rest in perfect peace.
