OJEMA CELEBRATES CHIEF SANI OCHIJELE’S MILESTONES, URGES LEADERS TO LIVE FOR HUMANITY

The Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency and Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Hon. (Pst) Chief Ojotu Ojema, FESMI, has congratulated Chief (Barr.) Sani Ochijele, PhD, on the celebration of his 60th birthday, 30 years of blissful marriage, and the conferment of a Doctor of Philosophy in Law.
Ojema, who was represented by Hon. Yusuf Ogbole and Hon. Daniel Adamu, gave the Goodwill Message during a Thanksgiving Service held on Sunday, 5th October 2025, at Methodist Church Iga-Okpaya, Apa Local Government Area of Benue State.
In his remarks, Ojema described Chief Ochijele as “a man whose life reflects dedication, service, and excellence both in private and public endeavors.” He further urged leaders at all levels to emulate the celebrant’s virtues of humility, perseverance, and commitment to humanity.
“True leadership is not measured by titles or positions, but by the lives we touch and the legacy we build,” Ojema said. “Chief Ochijele’s journey reminds us that success becomes meaningful when it uplifts others and honors God.”
The lawmaker also praised Ochijele’s contributions to education, legal practice, and community development, noting that his achievements serve as an inspiration to the younger generation in Apa and beyond.
The colourful event was graced by the Paramount Ruler of the Idoma Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji John CON and a host of dignitaries from across Benue State and Nigeria, who came to celebrate the distinguished son of Apa for his remarkable accomplishments in life
