In a pivotal moment for local politics, Honourable Akpode Baba Ngbede of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially announced his candidacy for the House of Representatives, aiming to represent the Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency. The announcement drew a large crowd of supporters, party members, and key stakeholders to his council ward in Oba, all eager to show their support.

In his address, Hon. Ngbede outlined his vision for the constituency, which includes a focus on purposeful leadership, unity, and sustainable development for the people of Apa and Agatu. He pledged to elevate community voices at the national level and prioritize initiatives targeting youth empowerment, infrastructure advancements, education improvement, and enhanced security.

Grateful for the robust support from his ward and beyond, Hon. Ngbede emphasized his commitment to an inclusive campaign reflecting the aspirations of the constituents. His message encapsulated a call for effective representation and progressive change in the political landscape.

The event also featured notable attendees, including Agatu Local Government representatives Hon. Ngbede Fodio and Hon. Ejeh (Opitanda).
