Comrade Abu Elijah Adaegahi Sounds Alarm Over Agatu Violence
ABUH Elijah Adaegahi, a concerned AGATU youth, has through his Facebook page designated Agatu Local Government Area as a “local government of particular concern” due to escalating hostility between Egba and Ologba communities.
In a statement, Adaegahi condemned the violence, stating that Agatu people are killing their own, constituting a “homogeneous killing”. He announced plans to write to DJT (likely referring to a high-level official) about the “homogenocide” unfolding in the LGA.
Adaegahi’s warning highlights the urgent need to address communal tensions and violence in Agatu, where recent clashes have resulted in loss of lives and property.
