Ugbokpo, Apa Local Government. In a vibrant display of political solidarity, Chief James Matthew Inalegwu officially announced his candidacy for the Federal House of Representatives at a well attended event in Ugbokpo, the headquarters of Apa Local Government. The gathering attracted a diverse crowd from various political parties, all uniting in support of Inalegwu’s vision for change and progress.

The atmosphere was electric as supporters cheered and waved banners, cap, demonstrating their enthusiasm for Inalegwu’s bid under the banner of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). Notably, over 100 members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) all defected to the SDP in a show of loyalty to the aspirant, signaling a significant shift in political allegiance that reflects the growing trust in Inalegwu’s leadership.

During his declaration, Inalegwu emphasized the importance of focusing on candidates rather than party affiliation. “We must prioritize the needs of the people and support those who are committed to serving our communities,” he said. Voters expressed their readiness to back Inalegwu, pledging to cast their votes based on his individual merit rather than traditional party lines, showcasing a desire for change and innovation in local governance.

With the election date approaching, Chief James Matthew Inalegwu’s declaration sets the stage for a competitive race, as voters rally around a candidate they believe can deliver real results for the community.
