*AGATU COMMUNITY HOSTS PEACE FESTIVAL IN MAKURDI*

 

The Makurdi Agatu Community is set to host a Peace Festival titled “THE PLACE OF PEACE IN SOCIAL POLITICAL DEVELOPMENT” on December 29, 2025, at Arabic Primary School, Quararafa Quarters, Makurdi. The event, chaired by Alhaji Abubakar Adamu and Dr. Mrs. Margaret Adamu Ijaguwa, will feature prominent guests, including Benue State Governor H.E, Rev. Dr. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, and traditional leaders [1].

 

The festival aims to promote peace and development in the community, with Hon. Chief Dr. Ojotu Ojema as the Guest Speaker. The event is hosted by Chief Isah Ibrahim Obeka, Och’Agatu of Makurdi, and Amb. James Melvin Ejeh, Executive Chairman Agatu LGC.

 

The community invites the public to attend, with RSVP numbers provided. The festival promises to be a significant gathering promoting peace and unity in the region.
