*Idoma Kingdom’s Paramount Ruler Honored with Nigeria Order of Sports Award*

 

The Paramount Ruler of Idoma Kingdom, HRM Agabaidu, Dr. Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji John, has been awarded the prestigious Nigeria Order of Sports and nominated Grand Patron of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). The ceremony took place at the Och’Idoma’s palace on January 24, 2026.

 

The award recognizes Agabaidu’s contributions to sports development in Nigeria. In a congratulatory message, John Anthony Ikwulono praised the Paramount Ruler and expressed hope that the award would spur further development in sports in the region.
