Headline: Edor Vows EFCC Involvement to Settle Agatu Youth Leadership Clash Between Obochi Solomon and Otache Jonah Adakole
_This report is based on a statement posted on the verified Facebook account of Comr. Ochokwunu Daniel Edor, Convener/President, Agatu Indigenous Youth Association (AIYA)_
The Agatu Indigenous Youth Association says it will pursue a conclusive resolution to the public rift between Amb. Obochi Solomon and Comr. Otache Jonah Adakole, including a formal EFCC inquiry if necessary.
In a statement on his verified Facebook page, AIYA Convener/President Comr. Ochokwunu Daniel Edor said Agatu youths “desire a clean and fraud free” generation of future leaders and cannot allow personal attacks to define the movement.
Edor called for clarity on the allegations raised by Amb. Obochi Solomon against Comr. Otache Jonah Adakole. Noting that both parties have resisted ceasefire pleas, he said their insistence shows confidence in their respective defenses and claims.
“You both should be expecting a call from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for questioning and clarity in your defense and claims,” Edor stated.
He pledged to follow the matter to the end to ensure both parties clear the air. According to him, the process should also serve as a lesson to anyone who cannot control their words in moments of anger.
“Small quarrel you will start attacking personalities. I personally won’t let this slide,” Edor warned, adding that someone’s reputation must be proven to be either good or evil.
He did not specify which side would be vindicated, but concluded with: “Anticipate.”
