“Ojema’s Educational support stipends in Apa-Agtu and Hon. Esin 10,000,000 in Oron”

– Paul Edoh Jr

In a striking critique of local leadership, a prominent activist from Benue State, comrade Paul Edoh Jr has publicly called out the Member representing Apa-Agatu Federal Constituency, highlighting the representative’s meager impact on students within the lawmakers Constituency. The activist’s statements come on the heels of a notable initiative by Hon. Martins Esin, the Member for Oron/Mbo/Ojobo/Using Uko/Urueoffong Oruko federal constituency of Akwa Ibom State, who recently approved a substantial ₦10,000,000 fund to support students in his constituency.

Highlighting the disparity, the activist emphasized that while Hon. Esin has made significant strides in empowering youth through substantial educational funding, the efforts of the Apa-Agatu representative have been lackluster. Instead of investing in the students’ futures, the activist pointed out that the representative has only provided minimal stipends during community events, which do little to address the pressing educational needs of the youth.

“Hon. Esin’s commitment to harnessing educational opportunities for students stands in stark contrast to what we see in Apa-Agatu,” the activist stated. “While one leader is providing meaningful support, the other is content with handouts that ultimately do not foster real development.”

The activist also expressed concern over what they termed a culture of mediocrity celebrated in Apa-Agatu, where superficial achievements are prioritized over genuine progress. According to the activist, the contrasting approaches of Hon. Esin and his friend, Hon. Ojotu Ojema, have raised critical questions about the effectiveness of local governance and the future of the youth in the constituency.

Speaking on the need for transformative and impactful governance, the activist urged the people of Apa-Agatu to demand more from their representatives. “Our youth deserve better than token gestures; we need leaders who are willing to invest in their future. It is time to embrace reality and strive for genuine improvement in the educational landscape,” they declared.

As Hon. Martins Esin continues to foster initiatives that promote education and personal development, the call for change resonates strongly within the Apa-Agatu federal constituency. With such contrasting leadership approaches on display, the activist’s message serves as a rallying cry for constituents to hold their representatives accountable and champion true progress for the youth of Apa-Agatu.
