*AGATU YOUTH LEADER COMRADE ABU ELIJAH ADAEGAHI DECRIES COMMUNITY’S CLUELESSNESS AND IRRATIONALITY*
Comrade Abu Elijah Adaegahi, an Agatu respected youth leader and man of integrity in has through the WhatsApp group of Agatu National Youth Council ANYC, has lamented the community’s cluelessness and irrational behavior amidst the ongoing crisis. In a candid statement, Adaegahi expressed dismay at Agatu people’s tendency to seek truth, only to reject it when it doesn’t align with their sentiments.
This was in reaction to one of the comments from a member of the group who counters the submission of the convener of ANYC, come Ochokwunu Daniel Edor.
“He added that Agatu people ask for truth, but when you speak it, it’s a problem,” Adaegahi said. “They argue the truth they asked for, simply because it doesn’t fit their narrative. This is a sign of doom – timidity and lack of conscience have taken over, leading to a collapse of humanity.”
Adaegahi questioned whether any right-thinking person can give credit to either Egba or Ologba, stating, “Both are the problem of Agatu. The worst is people from other communities taking sides, making it an Agatu case. We are a people of particular concern.”
As a voice of reason, Adaegahi urges Agatu people to reflect on their actions and work towards progress, rather than being driven by undue sentiments and irrationality.
